OYO 9932 Hotel Half Moon Residency

It’s in the city center, about 2 kns from the railway station, and the location was nice. The rooms and beds were clean, and the staff were very friendly. I had a very good experience. They even let me stay an extra 3 hours.

The location is handy, near the private bus stand and other areas, and there was plenty of parking. Staff were appreciable in their attitude during my stay. The rooms were large, but facilities were minimal. The old building shows in the bathrooms and wardrobes. Some rooms have tables, so check for one when collecting the key. At over ₹2000, the one-night rate I paid, I found it overpriced. I wouldn’t recommend it for families.

The staff are very friendly and the service is very good, but the hotel itself is just average and not worth the price. The room maintenance is poor. The TV wasn’t working properly and its remote was broken, so I connected the TV to my mobile instead. The bathroom wasn’t good either, the shower didn’t work, and the towel was the worst part. I hope they take this into consideration.

This is budget quality. The best part is being right in the heart of the city, so you can simply walk to lots of well-known spots and have a relaxing time. The reception responds quickly, and room service was good too. The rooms are trying to feel high quality, but it’s hard to tell which switch controls which device. The cupboards are plain wood with no polish or finish, and while the room size feels right for the price, the furniture doesn’t. I’d recommend it to a friend only if booking through oyo, where the price makes more sense.
