The free canoeing and boat rides were a fun part of our stay at Backwater Ripples, and the resort's restaurant was great. There was a wide choice of local and international food, and every meal I had was delicious. The resort is beautiful and relaxing, surrounded by nature on the shores of Alleppey’s backwaters. Sanjana K at reception was warm, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Alam, the bellboy, was cheerful and helpful too. Sindhu M Nair, the Guest Experience Manager, took care of the details and helped everything go smoothly. I'd recommend the resort for a peaceful nature break and would come back.

Tanya and her staff were easy to work with and very accommodating as we organized our son's reception in Kumarakom. We live in the US and wanted a full Kerala experience for him and his French bride, and after visiting several resorts, Backwater Ripples seemed the best fit. We held the engagement party there, and some guests stayed overnight. The wedding venue was fantastic, the rooms and grounds were clean and tidy, and the lunch buffet was thoroughly enjoyed. The BarBQ Pork was the crowd favorite. A wonderful time for us and our guests, and compliments to the Chef and staff.

Karthika stood out during our visit to Ripple Resort. She was cheerful and kind, explained the resort's special features in detail, and seemed to understand what guests wanted. I really appreciated her approach to customer service, and by the end she felt like part of our family. The atmosphere was positive and all the staff were very helpful. My family and I had a wonderful visit.

We wanted a peaceful place to unwind without having to go out much, and this resort suited us perfectly for our two-day babymoon. It's easy to reach from the main road, and the lake scenery, with boats passing in the morning and evening, is lovely. Staff were pleasant, professional, and ready to help. The breakfast and dinner buffets had a wide range of Indian and continental dishes, all delicious, and the complimentary evening tea and snacks by the lake were a nice touch. We also enjoyed the complimentary evening boat ride, especially if the sunset is good. We didn't try other activities, though there are plenty available. It felt like a calm place to relax, and seems well suited to parents, families with small babies, or pregnant guests.

This was my second visit, and we were here for a wedding. There are villas as well as hotel-style rooms, with lots of space and parking for the wedding and reception. Our room was comfortable and tidy, and the bathroom was spacious, comparable to western hotels. The shower area was huge, though I thought it could use more cleaning. We liked the backwater views around the pool, and the on-site restaurant was good.
