Hotel Indian Imperial

I booked two rooms through Agoda 15 days ahead for a two-day stay. The day before we were due to arrive, the hotel cancelled, saying the rooms were under maintenance. But when I called reception myself, I was told rooms were available if I paid ₹1000 more per room. That left me feeling they'd lied about the maintenance and were trying to charge more for the same rooms. Cancelling a confirmed booking at the last moment and then offering the rooms at a higher price felt exploitative and dishonest. It showed no integrity or respect for customers, and seemed like an attempt to get more money from travelers already committed to their plans. I strongly advise people to avoid this property. If honesty and reliability matter to you, this hotel isn't worth your time or money. One of the worst hotel management experiences I've had.

There were basic problems throughout our two-day stay: no pantry refills, bathroom kit replenishment, fresh towels, room cleaning, or sheet changes. We received just one 1-liter water bottle when we asked. The room smelled unpleasant too, so I bought room spray myself. The TV had no cable, and the Wi-Fi wasn't working properly. They also collected GST but wouldn't provide a GST bill. Parking was another issue. Although the hotel says it has parking, there wasn't suitable space for an SUV. The designated spot was elsewhere, down a very narrow access path that an SUV could barely get through. For what they charge, the service was extremely poor and the stay wasn't worth the price. They need to improve cleanliness and service, and be more transparent.

Subitha was so friendly and made dinner a great experience. Her food suggestions made the meal even better, and the orders arrived on time. The attendants really impressed us. The starters and Chicken Alfaham were especially good, and I'd recommend those along with the Brownie. Great place 😄

I ordered five mutton bucket biryanis for a family function, and my relatives were very satisfied. The taste, quality, and quantity were all good. The staff were friendly too. We'll definitely order again for an upcoming family function.
