A safe, secure place with friendly staff and 24 hrs room service. The rooms were net and clean, with spacious family rooms, and the rent was reasonable. It's close to the railway station and near all the temples.

They made us pay the full amount in advance. The property belongs to his brother, but the younger one acts like he owns it and seems to be in conflict with him. He wants to threaten customers and spoil his own brother's business. If you want a room without basic facilities, you can stay here.

The toilet cleaning was very poor, and the manager was rude and behaved badly. The hotel deducted rs. 2500 from my advance payment, which felt like cheating. I won't stay here on a future trip to kumbakonam and won't recommend it to anyone. Through some sources, I will complain to the tourism ministry of Tamil Nadu.

We only stayed a couple of hours in the off-season, and the host was friendly. For 1000 for 5 guests, we got a reasonably priced, very spacious room that was really a 1 bedroom apartment. It was clean and well furnished, with the railway station just a 5 mins walk away. The elevator was a big plus. I liked that the room names were cheran, cholan, pandiyan, after ancient Tamil kings, instead of boring cell numbers like 101. Great place, very well kept.
