The Gandhi Ashram is within walking distance, and getting to other Ahmedabad attractions is easy from this hotel. My family and I had a pleasant stay and would be glad to come again. On arrival, staff quickly handled our luggage, check-in was smooth, and we got settled fast. The building is compact and charming, with a welcoming entrance. Our family room had two spacious beds, a small wardrobe with a safe, two chairs, a table, and a comfortable bathroom. Room service from the hotel restaurant was quite satisfactory, although I would have liked slightly bigger portions. Breakfast from the buffet was enjoyable and offered a good variety.

At Keys Hotel Ahmedabad, Aarti and Rakesh at the front desk were welcoming and gave us excellent support. Sachin also deserves a special mention for the food service, with outstanding quality, taste, and dining overall. The team's warmth and professional, courteous service made for a very pleasant stay. I appreciated the thoughtful gestures that added to my comfort, and I'd recommend the hotel and look forward to returning.

The rooms and bathrooms were in dreadful shape. The rooms are tiny and oddly laid out, with angled walls and furniture that feels like it's crowding you. The bathroom design is particularly bad: there's no separation between wet and dry areas, no shower door, and the bathroom floor is level with the room. For two people, they gave us one towel, and we had to call for another towel and a napkin. The toiletries were poor too, with just one dispenser instead of conditioner, body wash, and shampoo. We had to call reception repeatedly for service, and they weren't prompt. Finding the hotel was difficult even though the address is about 2 km from Sabarmati station. People didn't know where it was, the sign wasn't adequate, and the entrance is through a narrow lane and narrow steps. The ramp was nearly covered with things. Staff weren't quick to help with luggage, so we carried it all in ourselves. The building is in a shopping complex, and the layout and architecture are terrible. You can book it because it's near Sabarmati Ashram or the riverfront, but there's no view, and you can't really open the curtains. Breakfast was very limited compared with other Keys hotels, and the restaurant was expensive. They also didn't help arrange transport, such as autos or cabs. This was by far my worst stay at Keys. I expected something different, but it felt like a lodging house, not a Keys hotel. Extremely disappointing.

I've stayed here several times and really enjoyed it, but the rooms never cost me more than 5k per night before. This is a great hotel at that price. Now they've raised it to as much as 20k for a night, which is ridiculous. That new rate doesn't justify the premium, so I'm giving it one star.

After spending the past three weeks in a different hotel every night, it was a relief to find a room that smelled fresh and had clean, fresh linens and pillowcases. The toilet and bathroom were well kept, everything worked properly, and there was generous space. The room was neat and comfortable for a reasonable price, with no unpleasant surprises. A bowl of fruit and cookies waiting on arrival was a thoughtful touch. There was some thudding noise from upstairs, which was regrettable, but in the end I was too tired to stay bothered by it.
