Mountain View Homestay

Afsal, Afsal’s friend, and Sophie were the real highlight, creating such a warm, cozy atmosphere. The rooftop was serene, with Mountain View, hanging baskets, candles, incense, and artwork giving it a magical feel. I joined Sophie’s lovely morning yoga classes, enjoyed the homemade breakfasts, played guitar, and had relaxing evening chats with everyone. I stayed in the tent, which was clean and comfy, with a towel, fresh soap, and shampoo provided. I was gutted I couldn’t stay longer, but hope to return someday. Thanks for a lovely, memorable stay.

The welcome from Asfal,Sophie and Lijo was fabulous, and they made us feel right at home. They gave us good, trustworthy advice about things to do in Kumily and nearby, which made organizing our stay easier. We loved the clean, spacious rooms and the lovely rooftop, full of plants, cushions, and hammocks. It was a great spot to relax and chat with other guests over their fabulous masala chai, my favourite. There was a great choice of breakfasts, all excellent. Lovely people and a great place. Thank you so much, guys, we miss you!

So glad I found this place. The hosts were wonderful, the beds really comfortable, and the breakfast was one of the best we had during our two-month tour of India, maybe the best. It’s one of my favourite places to stay so far and 110% value for money. Everything is walkable from this lovely location. I can’t recommend it enough!
