We had karaoke and a bonfire beside the Teesta, with the river flowing nearby. Even the view from the toilet was mesmerizing. Lachung Continental sits right by the Teesta river, surrounded by ice laden mountains. The price is reasonable and includes breakfast and dinner. The rooms are clean and have all the basics, and the staff are polite and always helpful. The food is vegetarian, which may be a deal breaker for some, but it suited me and plenty of others perfectly. For a friendly, hassle-free stay, it’s worth choosing. Have a grest time visiting. 🙂

The food was excellent and the hospitality superb. The manager treated us very well, and I especially want to thank Dawa bhai for looking after us. We had a really good time at Continental hotel. Everything was great, thanks again to the whole team. I’d highly recommend a visit and would love to come back!

Every request was taken care of promptly and efficiently, which made my visit comfortable and pleasant. The staff at Lachung Continental were professional, welcoming and quick to help throughout. An outstanding stay, and I highly recommend the hotel for its guest care and service.

We visited Lachung on 19 December 2025, and had a wonderful experience overall. The staff behaved outstandingly well, and the food was excellent, especially the amazing dishes Chef Dawa prepared.

Hello tourists, I checked into this hotel yesterday and wanted to share this so nobody else gets into the same trouble. There’s no support staff, the owner was no help, and the food quality was really bad. I couldn’t get hot water to bathe or brush my teeth. When I complained to the manager, he said they have electricity issues, but why don’t they mention that at booking time? The rooms are bad too, like staying in a boys PG.
