Sunny Pines Resort

The balcony view at night was lovely, and there was plenty of parking. The rooms were nice, with a small balcony for smoking, and the warm blue lighting felt very relaxing. Sunny Pines Hotel cost me half as much as the expensive hotels near Lansdowne's main market, and the room facilities were better, though the hotel is about 20 minutes from the market. They also provided disposable slippers, a toothbrush, and toothpaste. The towels weren't good, as fibers came off when we wiped our faces. The owner was friendly and cooperative when we bargained by phone. The staff were nice and supportive; they had been drinking, but I didn't see them behave rudely. Hakuna Matata.

Surrounded by greenery, Sunny Pines Resort was such a peaceful place for a relaxing break. Our room was clean and cozy, the food tasted great, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It was a memorable stay, and I'd happily come back.

We celebrated a birthday during our stay, and they thoughtfully arranged everything to make it feel special. I also met the owner and his wife, a warm family who run the hotel themselves with a lot of care. The location is beautiful, the food excellent, and the service spot on. A relaxed, chill weekend getaway for couples. Highly recommend.

The rooftop and scenic views were the cherry on top. The owner welcomed us warmly and took care of the discounts we asked for. It's 8 kms before the town, away from the hustle and bustle. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Lansdowne.
