Padma Hotel

The staff helped us arrange travel to nearby tourist destinations, which was a big relief in the winter weather. Ladakh in winter was mind-blowing, and Hotel Padma Ladakh made the trip even more memorable. The food was amazing, fresh, tasty, and well suited to the cold. Our comfortable, well-maintained rooms had beautiful views that made each morning special. From the moment we arrived in Leh, the warm staff made us feel at home. Special thanks to Mr. Anil for his hospitality and personal care throughout our stay. The people here are genuinely sweet, kind, and always ready to help. We had a memorable stay and I highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Leh.

A quick note for hotel staff: please try to keep a cotton door mat in the room. It would make things more convenient for guests. The front desk team, Stella and Glisha, were outstanding and accommodating, even letting us check out late on the last day. They also went the extra mile for our anniversary and were flexible about dinner timing. Restaurant staff were humble, attentive, and cooperative, and the ground staff were quick and ready to help. The owner deserves a mention too for a thoughtful, warm gesture toward guests. I stayed four nights with my family at Padma Leh, and it was memorable. Rooms were excellent, had all the essentials, and the central heating kept us comfortable regardless of the outside temperature. The views were stunning. One note for guests: the bathroom ventilation fans are kept off because rooms are temperature-controlled. Open the room windows if you want more ventilation. It was an amazing experience.

The property has a soothing feel, with lots of plants and a well-kept entrance lobby and seating area. It’s conveniently located, just a short walk from Leh market. Rooms are spacious and have great mountain views. After I booked online for the first two days, I called and Stela helped organize my whole Ladakh tour, including a good vehicle and a great driver. Restaurant food was delicious, and the friendly, cooperative staff were always ready to improve our stay. Padma Hotel is one of the best in its category in Leh. A great hotel experience.

Both visits to Leh have brought us back to Padma Hotel, and each stay has been better. The staff make you feel like family, from the welcome tea to the thoughtful check-ins. Their service is probably the best I’ve experienced in Ladakh so far, and they’re quick and courteous, helping with everything from oxygen cylinders to day-trip planning. The rooms are clean, cozy, well heated, and have super comfortable beds, a real blessing after a cold day out. We also enjoyed delicious home-style Ladakhi and Indian meals. Don’t miss breakfast, it’s fresh and filling. It’s in a quiet area close to Leh Market and Shanti Stupa. Thanks to the whole Padma Hotel team for making both trips memorable. We’ll be back on our next visit to Leh. Highly recommended!
