TIH Hotel City Palace

The staff were caring, polite, and always just a call away when we needed anything. As vegetarians, we were glad there were plenty of breakfast and lunch choices, and the food was served hot and was quite good. We spent three days at City Palace Hotel, Leh, as our first place to stay in Leh. The rooms were cosy, clean, and comfortable. Hot water for both bathing and drinking was available 24×7, which was very helpful in the cold weather. It was a pleasant, memorable stay, and we’d recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Leh.

From the top terrace you get a 360° view of the mountains around Leh, and that alone makes it worth going up. The garden is a nice place to sit, with birds around, and Fort Road is only a short walk away. The elevator was handy since I’d recently twisted my knee. The staff dealt with a small problem quickly and effectively, and were very accommodating. It felt like a home away from home, with much better service.

We had a really nice three-day stay. The rooftop rooms were the best, and the rooms and staff behaviour were on point. Leh market is a 5-7 minute walk away. Thanks to everyone, I’d definitely suggest this hotel to others 😊.

Try for a top-floor room if you can, the mountain and Stupa views are breathtaking and make a peaceful backdrop for morning coffee. Hotel City Palace has a cosy, luxurious feel, with warm interiors that mix modern comfort and local charm after a day in the high-altitude terrain. It’s in the heart of Leh, a short distance from Main Market, Leh Palace, and Shanti Stupa, so getting around to the main landmarks is easy. Between the location, the rooms’ high-end feel, and those views, it’s one of the best places to stay in Ladakh. Highly recommended.
