The villa was in horrible shape. It wasn't cleaned daily, there was dust everywhere, some switches didn't work, and the bathroom fittings were in bad condition. I couldn't use the shower. Even after I pointed these things out to the caretaker, nothing was fixed.

Paramount Villa is a nice place, and the caretaker is very good and cooks well. It's a comparatively good villa choice, though a few things weren't working: the Tata Sky channels were blocked, the music system didn't work, and neither did the wifi. For kids, the only activity at the property is the swimming pool.

Eko has villas in several destinations, including lonavla, Mahabaleshwar, and alibag, and lists them on apps like MMT and booking.com. My experience was very bad. Even after I'd paid in advance through a booking, they didn't confirm it unless I called to check availability. When I arrived, I found out it still hadn't been confirmed, so I had to roam around looking for a villa at the last minute. If you've planned a weekend, don't rely on those listings for your booking.

I couldn't find a zero star rating, though that's what I was looking for. The villa was pathetic, and the owner and sales girl were even worse. Anyone reading this should never book through eko stay.

My stay was very, very bad. The bungalow in the pictures was fake. The property was extremely unhygienic, with cockroaches and dust everywhere. They charged me 18000 for a bungalow worth 5000. Never choose Eko stay.
