OYO Apartments Powai

The rooms themselves are still good, but the surroundings aren't worth it. It's a flat shared with other people, so couples won't have full privacy and I wouldn't recommend it for that. The staff aren't professional, the service is poor, and the manager is just okay. The pictures only show the good rooms, with nothing of the outside property, which you see only when you arrive. They charged for water and didn't provide even one bottle.

The rooms are good, and the view from the upper floors is nice, but service is bad. Breakfast was included, though the choices and portions were below average. Finding the place can be difficult because the street name seems to say Oyo 5061 or something, rather than Oyo 361. The phone number provided by Oyo rooms didn't work, so take care.

This was my first stay at an Oyorooms property, and it was horrible. The room smelled of cigarettes, had cockroaches, and was shabby and unclean. Cupboards were broken and had no locks. The TV had no remote, or the remote didn't work properly. Breakfast was complimentary, but the overall atmosphere made me not want to eat there. I raised these basic concerns and Oyorooms just said, “we'll ensure such thing is not repeated in next stay”. Customers shouldn't have to point out things like this. I don't know how @oyorooms chooses its listed properties, but after this experience I wouldn't book with oyorooms again.

The sign on the street says hotel lake view residency, which is different from the name on my Oyo booking and made the place inconvenient to find. It's an apartment where other families and bachelors live, with a few floors set aside for hotel use. The included breakfast wasn't good. It could work for a short stay, but I'd look elsewhere for a longer one.
