Hotel Mangal Residency

The room was clean and tidy, and I had a comfortable stay. It’s only a 5-10 minute walk from Lonavala railway station. The one thing I didn’t like was how the receptionist handled checkout. He was rude about the time and said, “I’m giving you 15 minutes to checkout.” That wasn’t appropriate.

The rooms were clean, well kept, and had everything needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile, and their hospitality made the visit comfortable and memorable. I had a delightful stay at hotel Mangal residency in Lonavla. The beautiful location, surrounded by lush greenery and a calm atmosphere, was a welcome escape from everyday life. It exceeded my expectations, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lonavla.

For the price, the hotel was very good. Service could be better, though.

The managers were welcoming, and the hotel is fairly close to the station, though the route there is a bit dark at night. That’s the only real positive I found. The road outside is broken and slippery in the rain, and the property didn’t feel worth what we paid. It’s nowhere near a 3-star hotel, more like a 1-star place or PG-style accommodation. The room didn’t match the pictures: the bathroom was dirty, and the linen was stained and torn. They didn’t provide complimentary bottled water. Check-in was late, at 12 pm, and early check-in cost an extra 700. Checkout was very early at 10 am, with repeated reminders even from the cleaners.
