OYO 23476 Shree Mahalaxmi Lodging

The room's bedsheets were dirty and smelly when we checked in, and at night they wouldn't give us sheets or blankets. After we kept asking, they brought sheets that were still partly wet. We complained but got no response. When the bathroom door accidentally locked, no one responded to our request for a key. Eventually they gave us the storeroom bathroom key, but that bathroom was filthy. We complained again in the morning and finally got a key to another room's bathroom at 8 am. One worker acted like a child when we complained about the room, hitting his hand against the wall like a mad person. We booked this hotel for our family and had a horrible experience. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The photos of the hotel and what we found there were completely different. The rooms were unclean, had insects, and came without Wi-Fi, toiletries, or even basic necessities. I also didn't feel they cared much about guest safety. Not a place I'd stay with family. A waste of money and a very bad experience.

We ended up looking for another hotel rather than stay there and ruin our mood. Since it was the weekend, finding another place took some effort, but we found hotel Sapphire. Be careful about booking here. I strongly recommend against it. We'd booked two rooms and paid online. When we arrived with our confirmation, the manager, who claimed to be the manager, said all rooms were full and refused to allot us rooms. He asked whether we'd paid online, then said they don't encourage online payments. OYO couldn't help either. His claim that the hotel was overbooked was a complete lie, in my view. He offered the rooms for 2,200 each, 4400 altogether. The room we checked was very dirty. There was no parking, the building looked nothing like the photos, the rooms and toilets were very dirty, and the staff were rude. The man at reception was arrogant and behaved badly. I couldn't give this zero stars because there wasn't an option.

I booked at OYO 23476 with booking ID RGPA7691, but when we arrived the management wouldn't let us check in, and OYO assist was no help. They had cancelled my booking, leaving me and my family stuck in the car in heavy rain. I somehow found another hotel, but at a sky-high price. The staff are very rude and don't care about you or your family at the last minute. An extremely bad experience with very poor service. Don't book here.
