I arrived at FabHotel Ashirwad at 9:00 PM on 31st December, after traveling from Delhi to Lucknow, only to be told there was no room for me. I’d booked and prepaid ten days earlier for 31st December 12:00 PM to 2nd January 11:00 AM, 2026, but the hotel had given my room to someone else. That was shocking and completely unacceptable. Customer service kept asking for my PNR number and leaving me on hold without resolving anything. When I called again, the same thing happened. Their representative spoke with the hotel, which still refused to give me a room, and FabHotel’s response was just, “OK, no problem.” After a long hassle they moved me to another Fabhotel, but it didn’t match my booking and the service there wasn’t good either. I ended up wandering around late at night, stressed and harassed, instead of getting some rest after the trip. The service, availability, and experience were deeply disappointing and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or FabHotel services to anyone.

The bad one-star reviews are telling the truth. This hotel used to be good, but it isn’t being maintained now. Don’t expect the rooms to look like the photos. They’re dirty and smelly.

The AC barely worked, and with no ventilation the room felt hot and suffocating. Cockroaches were in the room too. The place was dusty, smelly, and unhygienic, and housekeeping seemed nonexistent. Even the pillows were filthy and smelled awful, like they hadn’t been washed in ages. There were no towels or soap, and things were falling apart, including the bathroom fittings and walls. Staff seemed just as dirty as the place, and they were unprofessional and indifferent when I complained. I wouldn’t bring my family here. It doesn’t feel fit for anyone to stay in. Save yourself the nightmare and stay far away.

It’s close to the railway station. I didn’t try the catering, and the bed and bathroom were clean, so I had no major problem. The cupboards, curtains, and walls could use a better cleaning, though.

The rooms and washroom stank, and the bedsheets were even dirtier. There was no cleanliness. I won’t choose Fab hotels again.
