Hotel Pinaka Inn

The room was comfortable and the facilities were clean, with the amenities we needed nearby. During our five days at Pinaka Inn, the front desk staff were welcoming and polite, and room service was quick and efficient. We had a great stay and would recommend it.

The room was unhygienic and in terrible condition, and the staff were awful. After we had checked in and paid in full, they told us the AC didn’t work, even though Agoda listed AC rooms, complimentary breakfast, and free parking. There was no parking at the hotel, just an open, unguarded roadside spot in front. The kitchen wasn’t working either, so there was no complimentary breakfast. Don’t pay extra and get fooled. They also charged extra, and the listings on Agoda and other booking sites were all lies. They’re complete cheaters.

We couldn’t sleep all night because the rooms were stuffy and uncomfortable. In both rooms the sheets and blankets were dirty, the bathrooms hadn’t been cleaned, and the AC didn’t work. When we complained, they said it was under maintenance. We’d booked two rooms for four people, but at 11 pm they refused to let us check in unless we paid ₹2400 extra because the rate had changed. We negotiated and paid ₹1600 more. They wouldn’t even give us a spoon, and there was no complimentary breakfast. Although free parking was advertised, there was no space on the premises, so we were told to park on the roadside in front of the hotel. The staff were absolutely terrible and the owner was very rude. When we complained to Agoda, they refused a refund or cancellation and said we had to manage with it.

The booking site said breakfast was complimentary for one person, but the hotel said it would cost extra. They kept calling in the morning to ask us to book breakfast, then suddenly there was a 900 rupee bill for two or three dishes.
