Hotel Shiva

The room looked clean and was decent enough for leaving luggage while going out, but I wouldn’t want to spend long in it. I was there only for a couple of hours to bathe and change, and was charged ₹700/-. There were lots of tiny cockroaches. Room service answered the phone right away, but didn’t come quickly. The AC wasn’t working, and no repair person showed up before I left.

Some rooms are very small, and in some the TV, AC, or hot water for bathing is missing or doesn’t work. The staff are rude and don’t seem to care when you ask them for help.

I’ve visited this place four times, and the staff have always been polite. The front office executive and the room service are very good. The TV doesn’t work in any room, though. Hopefully they’ll sort out that minor issue soon. Best of luck with your future service 👍👍

Our travel organizer arranged this stay, so I had no choice but to accept it. The room cost 1200/- and wasn’t worth it. It smelled bad, was in terrible shape, and had bed bugs. There were spit stains on the walls and fungal marks on the headboard. The AC was there but didn’t work, and they didn’t even give us a complimentary water bottle. Noise in the corridor made it hard to sleep. The bathroom was poor too, though at least they provided soap and a towel. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
