Townhouse OAK Hind Palace

I booked seven days with breakfast, and the payment was already deducted from my account, but the hotel didn’t provide breakfast on a single day. I showed my booking voucher to the receptionist, Mr Abhishek, but he ignored it. His behavior was very bad, and the staff don’t know how to speak to guests. The room and washroom were dirty and smelled. The bedsheet had stains and what looked like blood on it, and it smelled too. After my week-long stay, the hotel manager made a video of me at checkout and said my Riddhi Siddhi company would call with a resolution. I never got a call or message about the problem.

There was a garbage dump right in front, and the rooms were poor quality. The sheets and pillowcases were dirty and untidy, the blanket covers were torn, the AC barely cooled, and the washroom had leaks. Service and room quality were both poor. It felt like a complete waste of money, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

The lift worked fine, and the hotel looked good. But the room wasn’t set up the way I’d requested when booking online, even though I was told it would be ready that way. The TV recharge had expired, and there was no water dispenser, so we had to depend on the kitchen for drinking water. There were six lights, but a very dim bulb for nighttime would’ve been useful. When we checked in, painting was underway in the gallery outside my room, and the smell came in.

The staff were casual about problems, and they wanted the room rent paid at check-in instead of collecting it at checkout, as other properties do. The rooms looked worn and were badly maintained. There weren’t even hangers or tissues, and no bath soap either. They told us to use the liquid soap fixed by the washbasin, away from the bathing area. The geyser had been removed for repair, and nobody could say when it would be back. I had to ask repeatedly for hot water in buckets.
