OYO 14767 Welcome Inn

The room was small, the linen wasn’t very clean, and the sofa at the entrance was broken. The path to the hotel was muddy, and rats could be seen on the ceiling. I couldn’t roll down the window curtains, and there was no heater for winter. Not worth staying.

It’s economical and within walking distance of the railway station, which is a plus. But my room wasn’t well furnished and had a strong smell whenever I entered, so I had to ventilate it properly before I could settle in. There’s no parking, and the night shift receptionist was impolite. After a long argument, I finally got a clean sheet instead of the unclean blanket.

I had a comfortable stay and would recommend this hotel. It’s close to Charbagh lko railway station and the metro station, with public transport easy to find. The property manager and staff were capable of looking after guests’ needs. Thank you.

At 11.10PM on 12/10/2019, I paid the full 856 rs for my Oyo booking, id NLXS0937, for 12/10/2019 to 13/10/2019. When I got to the hotel at 2AM on 13/10/2019 with my family, reception refused to check us in, saying all rooms were full and online payment wasn’t accepted. Oyo only offered a refund when I reported it. I felt helpless at that hour and spent 3 hours roaming around for a hotel. Afterward, I saw similar Google reviews for nearby hotels booked through Oyo, with the same room unavailable and online payment not accepted problem. I want strict action against Oyo and the hotel chain linked with it. I’ve already filed a complaint with the consumer forum.
