OYO 23009 Hotel Maxx

Every room smelled of cigarette smoke, or had a bed that seemed full of bugs, and I couldn't sleep. I moved to a room on the second floor, but that wasn't good either. There was no AC remote, and the receptionist controlled it, which was really uncomfortable. I said it was a third-class room with no services. They gave just one Kinley bottle, filled with regular water. This isn't a good place to stay. It felt like a disgusting experience made for Oyo's purposes.

The hotel charges ₹1,000 for the room, and the only room price I have is ₹1,340. The lunch menu was very expensive, tea cost ₹25 a cup, and they wouldn't allow outside packed lunch. The room, shower, telephone, and TV weren't working. Staff spoke poorly, the room price and bill price were different, and they didn't provide a GST bill. Check-out the next day was at 12:00.

The restaurant served very tasty food, and the North Indian meal we ordered was excellent quality. It was also good value for the price. The room was very clean, the surroundings felt hygienic with fresh air, and the facilities were great. Staff were polite.

It's a five-minute walk from Charbagh railway station, with clean rooms, good maintenance, and friendly, supportive staff at the front desk. WiFi could be stronger, though. I got only one bar in my room. After several stays, I kept finding that the AC and TV remotes were missing, and the fan speed regulator often barely worked. Management needs to fix this.
