The jungle sounds made this stay feel so peaceful, a real break from the city. Our room was well equipped, and the whole resort and its surroundings were beautifully kept. The staff were professional and genuinely humble. We loved being here and hope to come back. Thanks for such a comfortable, tranquil stay.

We especially loved how quiet the jungle was, with nature all around and a real sense of peace. The rooms were comfortable, the setting was beautiful, and the staff were professional and humble throughout. It made for a wonderful, relaxing stay. We’d love to return, and hope this magical place stays just as it is. Wishing the team all the best.

The food and service were both terrific, and the staff’s hospitality was excellent. Breakfast had plenty of choices, and lunch and dinner were very tasty. The resort is tucked into the dense forest of Simlipal, where there’s no network, which was a welcome break from daily life. Our riverside cottage didn’t overlook the river, but we could hear it, along with lots of birdsong. The place was neat and clean, with a large courtyard, a kids’ play area, a gym, lots of trees, a library, and games. They also arranged bonfires and tribal dance for tourists. We had an excellent experience.

The main drawback is the price. It felt a bit high for the facilities on offer, though I still think it’s worth visiting if you’re comfortable with the cost. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the forest views and nearby trails made it a peaceful place to unwind.

The people made my stay especially memorable. Mr. Rohit, the trekking guide, took a big risk for a guest he didn’t know. Trekking isn’t allowed in Simlipal, so I was very disappointed, but I was lucky to meet him. He knows how to navigate the deep forest with local villagers. The whole staff were incredibly welcoming, and the massage was one of the best I’ve had, at a much lower price than 5 star hotels. I spent a week here on a Nature Forest Yoga retreat and stayed in all five room types, including the Villa. Every room was better than some famous 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in. The Meadow suite and Villa are farther from the main area, in a quiet spot near all Sports. They had high quality bathrobes, slippers, and all amenities. Each room also had a Bhagvad Gita and a yoga mat. With no network, I felt more receptive to the Lord’s grace. There’s a library too. The property is excellent, clean, green, and spacious, with a huge garden. There are plenty of sports, including badminton, volleyball, cycling, an Infinity swimming pool, cricket, archery, climbing, rope walking, and indoor games. The organic food was great, with good variety and impeccable service. Mr. Lalitendu, the resturant manager, was very caring. Please experience it for yourself. I had a rich experience here. Thanks Simlipal.
