OYO 13103 Ample's den

I came back around 4 PM to find my room open, with my laptop and other belongings inside. No cleaning had been done, and staff couldn't explain why the door was open. The ground floor room had its own street entrance, so nobody needed to go through the guest house. Earlier, I'd been told to move rooms: the manager first claimed there was no availability when Oyo showed the place available all week, then at 10 PM asked me to switch from the first floor because a family had booked three rooms together. I moved the next morning, but nobody checked in there. I can only guess at his reason. He'd first suggested I go to a 'proper' hotel managed by his friend, which made me suspect he got a commission from them. A beautiful property run by untrained staff who don't understand hospitality. The staff seemed not to want me there, and the whole experience was terrible. I hope the owner hears about it.
