The rooms we got looked much older and less cared for than the booking photos suggested. I can only speak for the double and triple non-AC rooms assigned to us, but the bathrooms, cupboards, cleanliness, and general upkeep all need improvement for the tariff charged. We had booked seven non-AC rooms for our group, with both double and triple occupancy, and had asked for ground-floor rooms because senior citizens were travelling with us. The property has no lift and is an older building, so it may be inconvenient for older guests or anyone with mobility concerns. We were initially given room numbers accordingly, but the allocations had changed by the time we arrived, causing trouble for the elderly members of our group. Staff were cooperative, though clearer communication about the changes and a more accurate picture of room conditions would help guests make informed choices. I hope management takes the feedback positively and improves the experience for future visitors.

I came back to Caveri Hotel in madikeri Coorg after a great stay last year, and I’m glad I did. The receptionist I met this time was exceptionally kind and helpful. They combined our two bookings, which were for different room types, so we didn’t have to move rooms during the stay. Their professionalism and attention to guests really stood out. The hotel continues to offer comfort, cleanliness, and warm hospitality. Very happy to be back, and highly recommended.

The receptionist, Mr.Haris, was especially helpful and flexible, and the housekeeping staff helped us arrange all our tours. We had a very comfortable stay and plan to come back with family to the same hotel.

The rooms we were shown and the ones we got were completely different, and rooms weren’t available even though we had booked in advance. For what we paid, the rooms were absolutely not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend booking here. Worst experience.
