The garden and grounds were a lovely part of our stay, with flower-filled planters and creepers all around creating a peaceful, scenic feel. Even though Vrindavan Coorg is beside another café and resort, it felt quiet. The owners are a sweet elderly couple; the uncle is a veteran of the Indian Air Force, and the reception displays interesting memorabilia from his service. They also sell a decent selection of chocolates and wines. We stayed four days and three nights in early December. The welcoming staff were efficient and genuinely good with kids. We had a Standard room and a Deluxe room, both Non-AC, clean, well maintained, and decently sized. Staff explained room service at check-in, which was helpful. The rooms don't have a great view, though. The property is 10-15 minutes from Madikeri town and near activities such as the Elephant Camp and coffee estate visits, but there aren't activities at the property itself. Our booking included breakfast, with plenty of choices. They usually served two South Indian dishes, such as freshly prepared idly and hot poori with delicious sagu/sambar and chutney. There was also a Western spread of toast, jam, butter, fresh fruit, and a pot of coffee or tea. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

The staff were kind, polite, and really helpful, and there's ample parking at this kid-friendly place. We stayed one night, and from check-in it felt premium and welcoming. It has hotel comforts with a homestay warmth, and the garden café makes the atmosphere even nicer. The food was average, though breakfast was really good. A wonderful stay amid nature, highly recommended.

I spotted a cockroach in the room, and the price seemed a bit high for what we got. Breakfast was average and could be better. Still, the room was spacious, clean, and neatly kept, and I found the location very convenient. The ambience is pleasant and one of the hotel's strong points, and the room comfort and overall vibe made up for some of the drawbacks.

The room was spacious and the food was home cooked, but there were cockroaches and the rooms need maintenance and pest control. The bed and linen were dirty, and the complimentary breakfast selection was quite limited. Dinner and breakfast times were inconvenient, and there's no washroom at reception. For the amenities provided, it was overpriced. They expected full payment at check-in, which was disappointing. There is no lift, making the property inconvenient for elderly people. It should be listed as a homestay rather than a hotel or resort.

The stay was okay, but this place is rather isolated and a bit far from the main town, so getting around was inconvenient. Breakfast had very few options, and we had to ask for every item one at a time, even the number of bread slices. I was surprised there was no lift, which is awkward with luggage or for older guests. The receptionist also asked for full payment before check-in, which I really didn't expect. It's an average spot for a short stay, with room to improve the service, facilities, and guest experience.
