Hotel Grand Sabarees

Cleanliness is top notch, the staff behave well, and I liked the quality of the door. The Wi-Fi was good, and the smart TV worked properly. But the room is so cramped it feels like it ends almost as soon as it starts. For a double deluxe room booked through Cleartrip at 2839/-, with no breakfast, the size and amenities don’t match the price. I’d put the maximum fair tariff around 1800. The toiletries aren’t great, the bed is average, and there’s no hairdryer, mini fridge, or safety locker. Either the room and amenities need improving or the tariff needs to come down. It’s a business hotel, as they say, and it’s not bad apart from that.

The buffet seating area is pleasant, and breakfast has a good range: idli, vada, dosas, uttapam, kharabath, pongal, kesari bhath, tea, coffee, breads, corn flakes, and fruit. The buffet staff were good too. It’s a decent property close to both the railway station and meenakshi temple. I booked a suite because the regular rooms were sold out. The room was a decent size, and the bathroom was okay with all the toiletries. Some fittings are a little old, especially the toilet seat covers, which could easily be replaced.

This was our third stay here, and we’re happy to share that it remains a good choice for families. The atmosphere feels decent and safe, and the staff are polite, kind, well-behaved, and prompt. Our room was clean, tidy, and convenient. Thanks for offering dinner through room service, which is especially useful for elderly guests. The hotel is handy for the Temple, railway station, and nearby shops, and parking is convenient too. By God’s grace, please open more outlets across the country!

The convenient location made this a good place for a peaceful stay. Our room was clean and well looked after, with hot water available around the clock. Staff were friendly, polite, and ready to help whenever needed. I’ll feel confident booking here again.
