We stayed at Sarana Hotel and had a very unpleasant time. One night, our room door wouldn’t open properly. The night receptionist was rude and no help at all. He yelled, ranted, and complained instead of helping, which made an already stressful situation worse. With nobody from the staff assisting us, we had to call the police just to get into our own room. That behavior was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. We told the manager the next morning. He said he’d “take care of it,” but the damage had already been done. Having to deal with someone so irresponsible made a difficult situation worse. I don’t recommend staying here, especially if that particular staff member is on night duty. I don’t remember his name, but his attitude left a lasting bad impression.

The food was very bad, and the accommodation and service weren’t proper either. Spoiled food made us get food poisoning, and we ended up admitted to the hospital. Don’t come to this restaurant for food.

The staff were polite and helpful, but that was about the only positive. The room was a decent size, though poorly maintained, and the cleanliness was unacceptable. The toilet had yellow stains, the floor was dirty, and the pillows smelled strongly, as if they hadn’t been washed in a long time. The taps looked outdated, and the water stopped while I was showering. It came back after 10-15 minutes with residue. I don’t understand why Indian hotels have hygiene problems like this. A paid hotel service should meet basic standards, and cleanliness matters.

The room photos are old, so don’t trust them. Everything now is unclean and broken. There was hair all over the bed, toilet, and floor, and the rooms were awful. The door lock didn’t work, and the person at reception had a very bad attitude.
