Hotel Park Plaza

The restaurant had plenty of variety and was really good. Our rooms were good too, and the bathrooms were decent, though the tap was rusty, hard to turn, and leaking. Staff service was decent. The location was average and a little far from the temple. There’s room for the hotel to improve.

At check-in, I asked for a better room for my family. Later, at 1:30 am, the AC in room 205 stopped working and the receptionist arranged for a technician to come in. After travelling 500km with my wife and two kids, I didn't want someone entering our room in the middle of the night. That's why I'd asked for a better room when we checked in, at midnight. The receptionist's behavior was ridiculous. I strongly don't recommend this for a family stay.

The staff were rude, and getting even a bottle of water took the reception more than 30 minutes. Room service didn't answer when we called at 6:30am, despite saying it was available around the clock. They advertise tea and coffee in the room, but there was none, and the promised king bed was actually two single beds. There wasn't even tissue paper in the bathroom. Save yourself the trouble and don't book here.

They charged Rupees 4746/- but gave us only one bottle of water, saying they didn't have any more. For three people, that's all the hotel provided, and when we asked for more we were told it would cost extra. The refill water was very unhygienic. Reception staff were no help at all. Don't book this hotel.
