President Hotel

The rooms are clean, but quite small, and the hotel is very close to the temple. The staff were especially well mannered and helpful. They arranged an early morning auto for us and served delicious food late at night. The restaurant food was fresh and tasted good even that late. Mr. Chotu, the Night Shift Manager, and the Waiter's treated us very well and did a great job. Thank you.

The rooms and washrooms were comfortable and well maintained, and the staff helped make our stay pleasant by helping us plan our itinerary and pointing us toward our next destinations. Bala was especially courteous and helpful, and put together a detailed plan that was very useful. The hotel is an excellent choice if you want to be near Meenakshi Amman Temple, just a 5-8 minute walk away.

The restaurant on the 3rd floor was excellent, with a buffet breakfast offering a good variety. Jyothi there was very helpful and arranged a packed lunch for our journey. Staff were courteous. The hotel is within walking distance of Meenakshi Amma temple, though the rooms are small, poorly ventilated and dimly lit.

The location was good, but the price didn't feel worthwhile for this property. The standard room was very small and had only a bed, with a basin inside the room. The bathroom was so cramped you could hardly stand and bathe. We switched to an executive room, which had space for two beds and a bathroom the size of the standard room, but it was still too expensive. The rooms are old and small for what they charge.
