Hotel Rajadhane

The rooms are spacious, but the smell of heavy smoking hangs through the hotel lobby and at the room entrance. The restrooms have no exhaust fans and smell very bad.

The rooms were good, but the hotel had no proper system or management. I’d booked through Yatradham and paid in full, yet I had to confirm payment four times as shifts changed. They even called me at 6 am to ask again. Why not check that at check-in? I was then kept waiting 30-40 minutes over the bill for a water bottle. A very, very pathetic experience.

Room service was prompt, and the staff were very courteous. We were especially impressed by receptionist Arun Pandian, who was attentive, kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful every time we dealt with him. His service really made the hotel stay feel special.

The room was spacious and very clean, with a good warm shower and cold water provided. It is a little old and could use fresh paint, though. There’s a restaurant inside the hotel. The staff were so helpful and came up with creative solutions, and for the money it was very good value.
