We were left sitting in reception when we arrived at 11:30 PM because the manager wouldn't let us into the room until I paid the 1200 still showing as due. I'd booked dinner, but it arrived too late for us to get any, and the 1200 was still listed under my name. The listed amenities also weren't accurate: the app said there was an elevator, but there wasn't one. I chose it for that reason because two or three people with us were over 75. I feel Oyo misleads customers about facilities and leaves them in a difficult spot. A terrible experience.

The extra bed and pillow for our third guest only showed up after we asked, even though we'd paid for them, and they were filthy. The sheets and pillowcases were dirty and smelled bad too. There was dust all over the walls, the bathroom latch was missing, and cleanliness in general was very poor. Poor room service as well. Not worth what we paid.

If you're after an inexpensive stay in Madurai, this place has good air-conditioned rooms at a low price. It's beside the police quarters, though Google Maps may send you the wrong way.

Dirty rooms, including the bed, a broken toilet, bathroom amenities that didn't work, and no decent service. I'd spend a little more and stay elsewhere. This cheap hotel isn't worth it.

I booked a Deluxe room, but it didn't feel up to that standard. The room smelled bad and the toilet hadn't been cleaned properly. I felt OYO had completely misled me. Don't trust them.
