You can park your car here, and the hotel is near Melmaruvathur temple. Some rooms have been renovated, though others are still old. The towels could use a better wash and cleaning. Breakfast wasn't worth praising.

The room we got was in awful shape, and the service was just as disappointing. We booked on MakeMyTrip for ₹1000 because we only needed it for 5-6 hours. After we asked the staff for an AC room, they added ₹900 plus GST, despite the room's actual rate being only ₹800. If you're staying in Melmaruvathur, I'd avoid this hotel. My photos show what I mean.

The staff were really friendly and made us feel at home. We had a great time at Smj Hotel, and the service was top-notch. A comfortable, relaxing stay, and I'd happily recommend it. ❤️

We stayed at SMJ Hotel for 5-6 days, and the staff's polite, attentive help made a strong impression from the start. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well kept, with comfortable beds that helped us rest after long days exploring. Housekeeping responded promptly, and the amenities were top-notch. There was a peaceful, inviting feel to the hotel, and its location made nearby attractions easy to reach. We also enjoyed the food and the good range of choices. Our stay was memorable and exceeded expectations. We'd gladly come back and recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, enjoyable stay.

They asked for extra money for early check-in, even though Agoda lists check-in as available 24/7. The staff's behavior was the worst, and I wouldn't recommend the place.
