Hotel Apsara

Being within walking distance of the market made the location especially convenient. I also thought it was good value for money, and it's a pure veg hotel. The rooms were quite good, and I had a great stay with truly exceptional service. 😊🏨😋

The property itself is good, and breakfast was good too, but the prices felt very high even in the off-season. The location was the only other thing I liked. There was dust all over the tea table and chairs, and the bedsheets were dirty. Hot water was restricted to three hours in the morning and two in the evening. In a cold hill station, I feel it should be available around the clock. They wouldn't provide plates for non-veg food brought from outside, and disposable plates cost extra. Housekeeping wasn't proper either: when I went to make tea, there was no kettle, and it took 15 minutes after I called to get one.

We regretted booking hotel apsara almost immediately. The food was awful, and the bedsheet smelled bad and didn't seem to have been washed. The restaurant staff were rude and extremely unprofessional. Worst hotel experience in mahableshwar. Avoid hotel Apsara, 1/10.

We got plenty of use out of the badminton court, though it was completely dusty. The restaurant manager was very courteous, and the staff cooperated when we asked for hot water since there was no kettle in the room. Service was good, but we didn't like the way we were welcomed. Breakfast was alright, though it was much the same each day and only ready around 8:30. The photos online may be old: the property looked rusty, with lots of dust around. Hot water had a set schedule, around 7 to 7:30, and they wouldn't turn it on earlier when we were checking out early. Maybe visitors to mahabaleshwar tend to be laid back, but the facilities need more maintenance.
