Hotel Sunny Classic

A very neat and clean hotel near the market, beside SBI bank. Free WiFi, good staff and good service all around.

We had a nice stay. The hotel is very neat and clean, free WiFi is available, and service was prompt.

Its location is the big advantage: right in the middle of the Market and close to the bus stand. The hotel is easy enough to find, and cab drivers even suggested walking instead of taking their cabs since it’s only about a 10-minute walk. Our room was good and roomy enough for three. There’s a geyser, which was a real help in winter when the tap water was refrigerator cold. Room service was great, and they served lovely food along with Tea, Lunch and Dinner on time. Ask politely and the guy may even pick up food items for you from the market. Hotel Sunny International is the higher version of this hotel, two minutes away on foot. It has a Playroom, and food is served there, so you need to go over. All in all, it’s a lovely hotel at a great budget.

The breakfast was good, and having the evening bazaar right at the doorstep was handy. But getting to the hotel was a hassle: cars aren't allowed there, so we had to leave ours elsewhere and walk to Sunny Classic with all our bags. The room felt antique and was very small. There was no good cable connection, no room heating, and no hot water available 24 hours. I had booked one room for two, but I wouldn't recommend staying here.
