Valley View Resort

The meals were a real highlight, with good taste, quality, variety, and thoughtful service. Valley View Beacon Resort, Mahabaleshwar also has a peaceful, well-kept feel, and my room was clean, comfortable, and arranged with care. Staff were polite and attentive whenever I needed help. I spent two nights here and left feeling refreshed. The valley panorama is especially soothing in the morning and evening, and sitting in the cool Mahabaleshwar air was a treat. It’s a calm place to unwind and enjoy nature, with welcoming service that made the short break memorable. I’d choose it again.

From the top deck balcony of our Royal suite, the valley view was beautiful. The property and rooms were clean and quiet, and the cost seemed reasonable for that level of cleanliness. Buffet refills came very quickly, and room service did what it could. The road in is narrow and crowded, running through a market area that looks like a slum. Inside the suite, the master and guest beds both need replacing. Buffet breakfast and dinner were average, with a limited spread, and the coffee and tea had a strange smell. The flasks sent to the rooms and used at the buffet need a thorough cleaning. We stayed for three days about a week ago, in the two-floor suite with the bedroom on the lower level.

For a family, the indoor play area was useful for keeping the kids busy, and the resort felt safe and relaxed for them. The staff were courteous and ready to help, service was prompt, and housekeeping kept our spacious, clean room in good shape throughout. Breakfast had a decent choice, with options for adults and children. The location is handy for the main market, shopping, food, and quick outings, while the property still feels peaceful and has lovely valley views. Waking up to misty hills and greenery was a treat. Mobile reception is limited in the natural surroundings. The hotel Wi-Fi worked fine, though it could be weak at times. A comfortable, scenic place for a family getaway in Mahabaleshwar.

Housekeeper Santosh Karande and his team made a big difference during our stay. They paid close attention, were always ready to help, and refreshed our spotless, well-kept room just how we liked it each day. The wider staff were courteous too, and service was quick. Valley View Beacon Hotel, Mahabaleshwar had a calm atmosphere and beautiful valley scenery, and the food was delightful. We felt at home from arrival, and the comfortable room and thoughtful housekeeping made this a lovely break. I’d recommend it to families, couples, or anyone after a relaxing holiday. We’ll be back.
