Shraddha Swaraj Villa & Rooms

We booked a villa for seven people from 30th December to 1st January, and it was a disgusting stay. The place was dusty, there was no hot water, and the washrooms smelled of sewage. The food was awful too. The meat arrived raw, and my dal khichdi was just dal and rice boiled together, with no salt, tadka, or anything else. It was ice cold. The next day I ordered it again because I had no other choice, but they forgot the order. If there’s no other option, go to Panchgani or postpone the trip. I wouldn’t try this property.

The only real drawback was the Wi-Fi. It was so limited it wouldn’t even send messages through messaging apps. There’s plenty to like here: a large compound to enjoy, free parking, and spacious rooms that can comfortably fit four people. The place is clean throughout the day, and the location feels nicely balanced, neither crowded nor isolated. The owner is friendly, and a generator means power cuts aren’t a problem. I’d definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Kate's point and lingamala waterfall points are close by, and there are two good restaurants nearby. The property is just outside the main city checkpoint in mahabaleshwar. Gafoor Bhai was friendly and flexible about what we needed. We loved staying here and would come back with family.

The mattress smelled awful, and the room quality was terrible. Mr gaffur was a very bad owner and didn’t provide the facilities he advertises. This was a 3 class hotel. Try to find a better option.
