Treetop

The rooms were tidy and the location was good, but the hotel was only okay overall. We had to go out whenever we wanted food since there’s no breakfast, lunch, or dinner service. Our room also had no dustbin, and they supplied just two soaps with no shampoo.

There’s plenty of parking, and everything is close by. It’s a lovely spot for a picnic or a trip, especially in monsoon when the place looks even prettier. The setting is peaceful and cool, and the food was tasty. The luxurious rooms are available at a really affordable price.

The gardens and restaurants were a highlight for me, and the rooms, atmosphere, and food all felt up to a four-star standard. Bella vista resort now manages this hotel, so guests can use its four-star facilities. It’s in metgutad, farther from mahabaleshwar city, though having a car makes that manageable. The room rates are high considering the free facilities on offer, and most facilities cost extra.

The staff weren’t polite, and there isn’t much choice on the food menu. The room itself was in good condition. Hot water was available for two hours, but with Mahabaleshwar’s climate, I think it should be available whenever needed throughout the day.
