We came for lunch as a family group, but the waiter rudely shouted that they were full and told us to go to another restaurant. There were about four people at two tables and six or seven tables free. When we asked again, he answered with even more attitude. I asked to speak to a manager or someone who could handle our meal, but he said we couldn't meet anyone and should leave for another hotel. We were very disappointed by the waiter's service and attitude.
Sea views, a great room, and plenty of parking. A pleasant place to stay, definitely worth a visit.
We went hungry hoping for good seafood, and left with empty stomachs and Rs. 1,200/- spent. They say you can choose a fish and they'll cook it, but I don't believe them, they are cheating. They asked Rs. 1,500/- for one fish. The fish meals cost rs. 350 and weren't worth it. Prawn fry was 400, and I doubt it was really prawns. Fish fry was 350, with a small fish, far too much masala, and a bad smell. They added lots of unhealthy colours and masalas. Don't eat here; I think the food could put your health at serious risk.
We only went to the restaurant and didn't stay at the hotel. It has a good view, and the vegetarian food was good. The snapper fry was extremely spicy, far beyond the medium we asked for. The server said it was less spicy than usual. I had a bad stomach upset afterward. The oily vegetarian and Chinese dishes were good.
Please be careful around this resort and beach. The tides and waves are very strong. I lost a family member after checking into the property, and we're in pain today. I believe the resort has a responsibility to keep guests safe, and this loss came from negligence. I wish the staff had given warnings and information about the beach. The police acknowledged that at least 10-15 people die in this beach area.
