Hotel The Grand Takshak

From outside the hotel looks nice, and there's plenty of space, but the management is terrible. One room smelled because there was little airflow and the plumbing seemed wrong. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned after the previous guests, and there was no hot water. The sheets were soiled and weren't changed; even after I asked, the replacements were extremely dirty. Room service had few options, and the utensils they brought were unwashed. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone hoping to rest after a journey.

I had a really bad stay. The staff were rude and told us to leave if we wanted. The slippers they provided were filthy, there were stains on the walls and sheets, and the bedsheet was torn with no bedspread. The room and closet weren't clean, and there were even hair follicles left by previous occupants. The bucket was filthy too. In the bathroom, there wasn't enough room to stand, the health faucet had come off the wall and didn't work, and you basically had to sit on the closet to shower. This hotel doesn't deserve one star; I'd give it minus five.

The food is very good, the staff are nice, and it's a pleasant place to stay. The hotel has a nice setting, and couples can also hold night parties there. The problem is that staff don't seem to know who is responsible for what, so the management is poor. If anything needs to change, it should be handled by the hotel management. With new management, the hotel could follow much better procedures.

The rooms were nice and clean, with AC and an attached clean washroom. There's a little patch of ground in front where you can walk. Grand Takshak Hotel is described as a luxury four-star hotel in Mahesana's central business district, about a two-minute drive from Nugar circle and ten minutes from the bus stand. It offers discounted rates and packages for business and leisure travelers, though corporate and shopping hubs aren't available nearby.
