Club Mahindra Manali

The snow-capped mountains are visible from both the rooms and restaurant, and the early morning view feels magical. Club Mahindra properties are usually well away from the city bustle, and this one has a superb location. The food is excellent, though it’s on the pricey side. I think it’s worth the cost.

The location is a plus and the rooms are decent, but that’s about it. The service was abysmal, with arrogant staff who seemed uninterested in helping. We saw restaurant servers with visible eye discharge, which made me question the hygiene. Staff said they were expected to work until 2 AM and return at 5 AM, apparently overworked. The restaurant is a no-go, and I’d avoid the hotel until they sort things out. Stay away unless you’re after a nightmare. Hope our honest review reaches the right people.

The staff were kind and looked after us well. They also planned our Manali sightseeing nicely, which made our three-night stay a pleasant one.

The food was poor, and several of us had stomach aches late at night after dinner. When we called reception for basic help, the response felt shockingly unhelpful and insensitive. We also had to follow up repeatedly just to get basic toiletries. Our room booking was for a 1BR, but the first room we were given was dirty and had spiders. The manager's explanation that it was a “garden room” and that nothing else was available felt misleading. Only after several discussions were we offered a studio, and its pillows were stained. That wasn't acceptable. As Club Mahindra members, we expected much better from Club Mahindra Snow Peaks. The service, hygiene, staff attitude, and food safety all fell short of what I'd expect from a 4-star resort. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless major improvements are made.
