Goroomgo Galaxy Inn Manali

We were fortunate to get just one bucket of hot water during our two days there. The bathroom was in terrible shape, with no window or extractor fan, so it stayed misty after showers and smelled after using the toilet. There was a foul smell in the room that didn’t improve after I sprayed room freshener a couple of times. Insects kept crawling around, and there was a honeybee nest beside the right window. We opened it by accident and shut it right away to avoid getting stung. I could keep listing the problems, but the hotel staff and its MD said they hadn’t heard any complaints from guests in five years, something five- and seven-star hotels should learn from them. If you somehow get stuck with a deal to stay here, my advice is to avoid complaining. Even if you do say something, try not to face the pathetic piece of earth that is its MD, Sukhwinder.

A wonderful location and clean rooms. The hotel staff are extremely good and helpful, and hot water is available 24 hours. I highly recommend it for a family stay.

The room was dirty, the geyser didn’t work, and there were no floor mats even in winter. The worst hotel in Manali. If I could give a rating below zero, I’d give it -5. Check the rating before you go, or your holiday stay could be ruined.

The windows look out on a pleasant scene, and the rooms are neat and clean. It’s easy to reach, and they serve food, which everyone needs. The staff are well behaved and provide good service. Hotel Galaxy Inn in Manali is a great place to book in any season when you come to town.
