Hotel Samiru

The room was so cold that using the washroom with ice-cold water during snowfall was difficult. There was no room heater or electric kettle, and no power backup when the electricity went out. The geyser also wasn’t working. On top of that, the room smelled bad and felt unhygienic, and the hotel was very dirty and far too expensive for what it offered. Snow melting on the roof dripped all night, and the sound kept us from sleeping properly. Service was very poor, and the person at reception was rude and unprofessional. With poor cleanliness, missing basic amenities, and no comfort in the extreme cold, this was a very bad experience. Not worth the money, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

The staff were rude and unprofessional, with no courtesy or respect and no concern for guests. They acted as though letting us stay was a favor. Our room was poorly maintained, dirty, and smelled terrible. The bedsheets looked unwashed, the washroom was in horrible condition, and there was constant noise. We got no proper service. A very frustrating, disappointing stay. I’d strongly tell people to avoid this place if they don’t want their trip ruined.

The staff were friendly and polite, and ready to help whenever we needed anything. The food was tasty too. We spent two days here and had an awesome time thanks to the good staff and excellent service. Would love to come back.

As soon as I entered the room, it smelled like a public toilet. I asked reception, and they confirmed the rooms smell like that, but nobody took responsibility. The whole room had that smell, and it was horrible to stay there. I had no other option, so I slept overnight. This was the first time in my life I’d had an experience like this. I don’t understand why people stay here and give it a 4.1 rating. In my view, this hotel doesn’t deserve even one star, more like 0.1.
