Manali Jain Cottage

The welcome poster caught our eye as soon as we arrived and lifted our spirits after a long journey. The whole team, from the housekeepers and waiters to management, helped us more than I’d expected. The meals felt like a dream, and the effort to make us happy was above average. Their warm hospitality was the high point of our tour, and we delayed checkout by half a day because of it. My whole group and I are very grateful for the kind welcome and stay. I wish every hotel in Manali had staff with the same willingness to receive guests so kindly. I’m sure all my customers will choose your hotel when they visit Manali.

There are chairs and swings on a big shared balcony on every floor, and the staff are extremely nice and cooperative. The rooms are comfortable, with a great view, probably one of the BEST in Manali. It’s very close to Bashisht Temple, a famous tourist attraction, though the road in front gets crowded during the daytime. A very good option overall.

The room had a fantastic view, but the place was far from clean. There was no proper bin, and it looked like staff had used the room and left things scattered around, including worn underwear and an ashtray. The bathroom was dirty too. Despite the name Jain cottage, the kitchen is shared and serves non-veg food, which came as a shock to me. They also charged Rs 500 to leave my luggage for a few hours in an open area.

Mr. rohit and Mr. ravi at Jain cottage made us feel like family, and were the best part of our stay. They put us in adjoining rooms on the fourth floor, with speakers and a bonfire, and we had a great time. The view, rooms, and food were all wonderful, and the staff were very helpful. We could overlook the few small drawbacks. We'd first booked at Hollywood hotel manali for our arrival on the 9th. The reception staff there were very rude. We'd confirmed a third-floor room, but they gave it to someone else for a higher price. Our early check-in had also been confirmed, then refused.
