OYO 13218 Hotel Hollywood

The helpful staff and the bike I rented here, which was in good condition, were the bright spots. The room situation was really disappointing. My deluxe room felt like a cold, damp basement, with visible fungus in the cupboards. It was 3°C and there was just one comforter. Paying an extra ₹500 for a heater seemed unreasonable in those conditions. The bathroom wasn't clean, part of the geyser was hanging loose, and the bedsheet was dirty. I asked for it to be changed and got no response, so I eventually paid extra to move to another deluxe room. I had booked through Booking.com, but then got a message thanking me for a rating I never submitted. That was concerning. The room quality and response to problems need serious improvement.

Thakur Sahab, the owner, was kind and welcoming, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The beds are just a little small for three people, though they're perfect for two. I had a very good stay at Holywood Hotel and would definitely recommend it.

My stay at this property was one of the worst I've had. It appears under different names on different platforms: some call it “Snowclat,” while the actual hotel is “Hotel Hollywood.” That mismatch felt misleading and scam-like, with no clear identity. The room also looked nothing like the online photos, which was disappointing and deceptive. It was terribly cold and in bad condition. We asked for an extra blanket and staff said they'd bring one, but it never arrived, leaving us very uncomfortable. There didn't seem to be proper safety or security, and management appeared careless about guest comfort and well-being. Room service was slow, unresponsive, and unprofessional. The sofa was filthy and clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. The food tasted very bad, was poorly prepared, and wasn't worth eating. Poorly managed, misleading, and not worth the money. It ruined our time in Manali. I'd strongly advise avoiding this hotel. Worst experience, never visiting again.

We stayed at Hotel Hollywood Manali with my family. The price was budget-friendly, a good fit for short stays, and the mountain and river views were lovely. Staff behaved very professionally, and the food was very good. Cleanliness and maintenance are very good too.
