The Himalayan Heights

Peace and comfort came together nicely at Himalayan Heights, with beautiful mountain scenery all around. My room was spacious, the food was delicious, and the staff were attentive and welcoming. It made for a memorable stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, luxurious break in the Himalayas.

The balcony view of the snowy peaks and the city below is genuinely beautiful. That was the highlight. The rest of my stay at Himalayan Heights, Manali was a letdown. The location is so remote that nearby restaurants and everyday conveniences are hard to get to. There were problems inside the hotel too. Room service took several calls, and requests were acknowledged but then left unattended. We reported that the TV wasn’t working, and it still seemed to be waiting for attention. The room tea tasted completely different from the breakfast tea. Breakfast was limited, and some of the food was strange. The poha came with tomato ketchup and capsicum, an odd experiment nobody asked for. The other food was bad enough to make you want to skip meals. Go for the view, but the rest of the experience didn’t live up to it.

We spent four nights in a cottage, and the service was top notch. The rooms were heated and the hygiene was excellent. The location is amazing, and the staff were both humble and professional. We really enjoyed our stay, a 10/10 from us.
