The Social Stays Manali

The outdoor seating had a relaxing, beautiful feel, and the party atmosphere was lively and fun. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the food was delicious. Ajay Thakur was a great manager, polite and attentive, making sure everyone felt comfortable and enjoyed themselves. My time at The Social Stays was amazing. Service and ambiance were perfect, and it’s one of the best places to hang out with friends, enjoy good food, and have a great time. Highly recommended.

Rooms and bathrooms were exceptionally clean, hot and drinking water were reliable, and the staff were very helpful. The cafe and play area were welcome additions. The hostel felt a little lifeless, though, with no organized activities or social events to bring people together. Dorms had no heaters, and frequent power cuts were a challenge. The road to the property can also be tricky in snow.

I stayed in a private room that was spacious, clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. The balcony’s mountain view was one of the highlights. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout, especially Ajay, the approachable and kind manager. He shared lots of useful information about Manali. I highly recommend The Social Stays Manali for a comfortable, welcoming stay.

It was a really good place, especially if you’re travelling solo. I’d suggest renting a scooty from the Manali bus stop to get around. I was late for my bus and asked Ajay thakur at reception to arrange an auto, but traffic meant it would take too long. When I asked if he could drop me on the main road so I could get an auto there, he didn’t hesitate and drove me 2km. A simple gesture, but it says a lot about the place.
