We had pre-booked three rooms a week ahead for a weekend in Mandarmani with my family. After the long trip from Kolkata, we arrived at 12:30, just 30 minutes after the usual check-in time, but still had to wait an hour with my aged parents. The food was very average. On checkout day, we asked the receptionist for one extra hour since they had given us a late check-in, but they wouldn’t allow it.

The staff were very good, and the resort was clean, with good service and food. You can have meals in your room or by the pool, and the beach is just a one-minute walk away. The balcony has a sea view, and full pool-view rooms are available. Unlike most Mandarmoni hotels that close the pool after 8 pm, here you can enjoy it until late evening. There’s music and a DJ by the pool, plus a children’s playground and amenities. Parking is available inside the resort, and you can enjoy yourself to the fullest.

The staff’s behaviour needs serious improvement. If the owner sees this, please hire employees who know how to be hospitable and handle guests and situations. The current staff behaviour is completely unacceptable and extremely rude, especially the pool boy and the front desk person without hair.

The pool and sea view made the stay really enjoyable, and the amenities and upkeep were good too. Service was lovely, and for the money it felt like a complete deal. Best experience ever.

The staff were polite and ready to help, and they had all the arrangements in place. Our room was neat and clean, and the food was good. We had a nice stay here, and I’d definitely recommend the hotel.
