The room has no fan, but the AC was well maintained, and hot water was available around the clock. We noticed several power cuts, with the hotel switching to generators. There’s a TV with channels in all languages, and room service was very helpful. The rooms are good for couples, though the electric sockets could be better.

There’s no lounge, so visitors have to wait outside on the footpath. There’s also no parking, no ramp for people with physical disabilities, and no complimentary breakfast, which other hotels in this category provide. The breakfast might not cost more than Rs. 75/- per person. During my two-day stay, the room wasn’t cleaned despite my specific request, and towels and soaps weren’t replaced. The rooms themselves are okay, but service was far from satisfactory. I’ll think twice before returning.

There’s no meal service at the hotel, though you can get three meals a day at a nearby restaurant. Its menu is mostly South Indian food. The rooms are air conditioned, clean, and tidy.

We booked this hotel for all six days of our January 2017 trip to Mangalore because the rooms were within our budget, and we didn’t regret it. The rooms and bathroom were kept clean, and the staff were courteous. A breakfast coupon was provided for a small darshini right beside the hotel. The food there tasted okay.
