Hotel Sunbright Residency - Manipal

There are lots of branded clothing shops and restaurants around this property in the main area, and it has plenty of car and bike parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were well maintained, though the bathroom door in mine was difficult to lock. Wi-Fi didn’t work during my visit to Udupi. Complimentary breakfast starts at 8 am and is almost gone by 9 am.

There’s no restaurant at the property, but it’s still a decent, budget-friendly choice. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere is peaceful. Good for staying with family or friends.

We stayed in a family room for four days and were able to see the available rooms before booking, which was helpful. The rooms are spacious, and there are different options, including deluxe and family rooms. Service was responsive and good, and the basement parking was convenient. Breakfast is included, but there wasn’t much choice. There’s no in-house lunch or dinner. Hotel Sun Bright Residency was quite good on our recent Manipal visit, and it’s about 1 km from Manipal University.

Around 8 PM, we had a power problem in our studio room. Since it would take longer to fix, the staff moved us to a new room within an hour, which I really appreciated. Our room had been spacious, clean, and well equipped, and the location was convenient. We had a positive stay at Hotel Sun Bright Residency in Manipal. Breakfast was decent with a good variety, though nothing fancy. I’d recommend it for the comfort and service.
