Starlit Suites

The balcony and view were lovely, and the room was spacious and spotless. I stayed in the deluxe suite for three days and would be happy to come back. From booking onward, the staff were helpful. Mr. Hussain deserves special thanks: he made check-in and checkout quick and smooth, and continued helping even after my stay. He made the whole visit memorable.

We lost plans for the day after the food took over an hour to arrive, even though we'd ordered half an hour ahead. We had to cancel half the order. On top of that, our rooms weren't ready when we checked in late, and the final check wasn't prepared at checkout despite us telling them. The staff lacked professionalism and even basic table manners. A terrible experience. If you care about your time, money, or peace of mind, stay elsewhere in Kochi.

I booked four nights while travelling from the UAE to Kochi last week at Christmas, but left after only a day and a half. There was no service or hospitality. The reception staff barely seemed to care about greeting anyone with a smile, and when the kettle in my room stopped working, nobody bothered to address it. I blame the MakeMyTrip portal too. Do they actually check the condition of these hotels before handing out 3- or 4-star ratings? God bless this hell. Thank you.

We checked out immediately. The rooms are large, laid out like a 1BHK, but they were filthy and badly maintained, with no sense of basic hygiene. As soon as we walked in, we saw at least 10-15 cockroaches crawling around. The doors still have old key locks, and even finding the place is a task: it's tucked behind a huge building, away from the main road. A waste of money. Do yourself a favour and avoid it.
