I booked through MMT. The room itself was good, but the bathrooms weren't very good and the service was very bad. They offer a swimming pool, yet when we were at the hotel they said it wasn't working.

The travel booking was the worst part of our stay. We asked the hotel to arrange a traveller vehicle because they said they had tie-ups. We assumed they were just referring us and that we'd pay the traveller directly, as hotels often do. Instead, they took advance payment on the morning of day two. For an AC 7-seater, they quoted about 14500 for three days. After negotiating, they said the traveller could offer 13000, with no further discount, and we agreed. We checked out on the third day around 8:30 AM. The hotel collected our remaining hotel charges and another 8000 for the vehicle, but gave us no proper travel bill. We'd clearly told them we would leave the vehicle at about 3:30 PM that day, yet they told the driver the drop-off was at 1:00 PM. They also told the driver, traveller, and owner that we wouldn't pay more than 10000, even though they'd already taken money from us. It made it look as if we were refusing to pay. While the driver was taking us to the station after our final trip, the hotel called him and said to drop us off before the agreed time or they wouldn't pay him. When we asked the hotel to release the money, the man who said he was the owner, the mediator involved in the deal, claimed he had no connection. We were willing to let them keep an extra charge for recommending the driver, but the driver deserved the remaining 10K we'd agreed on. The hotel delayed or withheld his payment and gave neither side a clear account, which damaged our image with the travelling party. The whole arrangement felt like a fraud. The other parts of the stay were frustrating too. There is no dine-in restaurant, which people had told us, but room-service calls were slow to get answered or the line was busy. After repeated attempts to get through, they sometimes took only part of the order based on their own assumptions and took hours to deliver it, even after we followed up several times. Our rooms had no toiletries in the bathroom or towels, even after we followed up. There was no water bottle either, and staff didn't check. When we asked for one, it took them a long time to bring it. Food was also far too expensive compared with outside. A big no if you're looking for a peaceful stay.
